Further Details
Many of the opportunities available following an incident require volunteers to be fit and active, may involve working in dirty or dusty environments, and could involve being outdoors - for example, removing damaged furniture and cleaning affected buildings, or lifting, packaging and distributing donated items. Some volunteer roles will be less physically demanding - for example, knocking on doors to check people are OK and gather information, making refreshments and helping with administration.
